Mixed non-motorized traffic is largely unaffected by motor vehicle congestion, offering high accessibility and convenience, and thus serving as a primary mode of "last-mile" transportation in urban areas. To advance stochastic capacity estimation methods and provide reliable assessments of non-motorized roadway capacity, this study proposes a stochastic capacity estimation model based on power spectral analysis. The model treats discrete traffic flow data as a time-series signal and employs a stochastic signal parameter model to fit stochastic traffic flow patterns.

Hypothesis: Nonpolar solvents with added charge control agents are widely used in various applications, such as E-paper displays. In spite of previous work, the mechanisms governing charge generation in nonpolar liquids, particularly those induced by electrochemical reactions at the liquid-solid interface, are not completely understood. Background: In patients with early-stage triple-negative breast cancer, the phase 3 KEYNOTE-522 trial showed significant improvements in pathological complete response and event-free survival with the addition of pembrolizumab to platinum-containing chemotherapy. Here we report the final results for overall survival.

Methods: We randomly assigned, in a 2:1 ratio, patients with previously untreated stage II or III triple-negative breast cancer to receive neoadjuvant therapy with four cycles of pembrolizumab (at a dose of 200 mg) or placebo every 3 weeks plus paclitaxel and carboplatin, followed by four cycles of pembrolizumab or placebo plus doxorubicin-cyclophosphamide or epirubicin-cyclophosphamide.

Purpose: To develop and test a radiomics nomogram based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and clinicopathological factors for predicting the axillary pathologic complete response (apCR) to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) in breast cancer patients with axillary lymph node (ALN) metastases.

Ion specificity is crucial for developing fluorescence probes. Using a recently reported optical sensor (BDA-1) of Zn as a representative, we carried out extensive quantum chemical calculations on its photophysical properties using density function theory. According to the calculated optimized geometries, excitation energies and transition oscillator strengths, the weak fluorescence of BDA-1 observed in experiments is attributed to the suppression of fluorescence emission by efficient internal conversion, rather than the previously proposed photoinduced electron transfer (PET) mechanism.

Background And Purpose: Accelerated and blood-suppressed postcontrast 3D intracranial vessel wall MRI (IVW) enables high-resolution rapid scanning but is associated with low SNR. We hypothesized that a deep-learning (DL) denoising algorithm applied to accelerated, blood-suppressed postcontrast IVW can yield high-quality images with reduced artifacts and higher SNR in shorter scan times.
