Background: Depression is a common mental disorder that significantly impacts global well-being. Although stress is a major contributor to depression, not all stress leads to depressive outcomes due to differences in stress perception. Understanding the neural mechanisms of stress perception may help identify biomarkers for targeted interventions to alleviate stress-related depression.

The diffuse Galactic gamma-ray emission is a very important tool used to study the propagation and interaction of cosmic rays in the Milky Way. In this Letter, we report the measurements of the diffuse emission from the Galactic plane-covering Galactic longitudes from 15° to 235° and latitudes from -5° to +5°, in an energy range of 1 to 25 TeV-made with the Water Cherenkov Detector Array (WCDA) of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory. After the sky regions of known sources are masked, the diffuse emission is detected with 24.

The Ξ_{b}^{0(-)}→Ξ_{c}(3055)^{+(0)}(→D^{+(0)}Λ)π^{-} decay chains are observed, and the spin-parity of Ξ_{c}(3055)^{+(0)} baryons is determined for the first time. The measurement is performed using proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13  TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4  fb^{-1}, recorded by the LHCb experiment between 2016 and 2018.

Lithium-sulfur batteries (LSBs) continue to encounter significant challenges in practical applications, primarily attributed to the low electrical conductivity of the cathode active material sulfur, volume expansion during cycling and the uncontrolled shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides (LiPSs). In this work, flexible meta-aramid fibrids (AFs) were innovatively introduced, and polydopamine (PDA) was employed to effectively adhere highly conductive multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) to the AFs surface, thereby forming nanoscale conductive pathways. A wet-laid process analogous to aramid paper-making was utilized to enhance interfacial bonding between AFs and rigid carbon fibers (CFs), resulting in a self-supporting paper-based cathode material with a uniform, dense three-dimensional micronano-scale conductive network and stable structure.

The intestinal remodeling during amphibian metamorphosis is essential for adapting to various ecological niches of aquatic and terrestrial habitats. However, whether and how the widespread contaminant, perfluorobutanesulfonate (PFBS) affects intestinal remodeling remains unknown. In this study, tadpoles () at the G26 stage were exposed to environmentally relevant concentrations of PFBS (0, 1, 3, and 10 μg/L) until the end of metamorphosis.
