Recent studies demonstrated that glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RA) have promising prospects in promoting wound healing. In this study, we intend to investigate the pro-healing effect and potential molecular mechanism of topical administration of GLP-1RA liraglutide on wounds in normoglycemic mice. Two full-thickness wounds were created on the back of the C57BL/6 mice.

Currently, only two gene-deleted live attenuated vaccines are approved, exclusively in Vietnam, and their long-term effectiveness and safety are unproven, prompting the need for safer alternatives. This study assessed a cocktail of African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) antigens delivered via a recombinant Newcastle Disease Virus (rNDV) vector against the genotype II ASFV-SY18.

Here, a novel high-entropy, defect-rich and small-sized (32 nm) UiO-66 (ZrHfCeSnTi HE-UiO-66) has been synthesized for the first time, leveraging increased configurational entropy to achieve high tolerance to doping with diverse metal ions. The lattice distortion of HE-UiO-66 induces high exposure of metal nodes to create coordination unsaturated metal sites with a concentration of 322.

In this study, we constructed a pathway to produce hydroxytyrosol by co-expressing tyrosin-phenol lyase (TPL), L-amino acid dehydrogenase (aadL), α-keto acid decarboxylase (KAD), aldehyde reductase (yahK) and glucose dehydrogenase (gdh). We changed combinations between plasmids with different copy numbers and target genes, resulting in 84% increase in hydroxytyrosol production.

Both processes are central to the development and progression of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs). We hypothesize that TYMP plays a role in AAA development.
