Background: Bi-cruciate retaining (BCR) total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is considered to provide improved clinical function and kinematics compared with conventional TKA, but it is unclear which factors affect clinical outcomes after BCR TKA. This study aimed to investigate whether rotational alignment of the femoral and tibial components and rotational mismatch between the femoral and tibial components affected early clinical outcomes after BCR TKA, according to the 2011 version of the Knee Society Score (2011KSS).

Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 39 knees that underwent BCR TKA.

Metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) is responsible for most thyroid cancer-related deaths, with an even worse prognosis for patients with radioactive iodine (RAI)-refractory DTC (RAIR-DTC). While multi-kinase inhibitors (MKIs) and tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) offer effective treatments for RAIR-DTC, most patients remain noncurative and eventually experience disease progression. Additionally, long-term use of these medications is hindered by adverse events, drug resistance, and high cost.

Radiopharmaceuticals targeting tumor-specific environments are powerful tools for cancer diagnosis and treatment. We previously demonstrated the considerable high tumor uptake of the cationic amphiphilic peptide, Ga-NOTA-KV6, in vivo. However, because this radioligand shows a relatively rapid clearance from the tumor over time, further structural optimization is necessary.

A specific framework called the rehabilitation nutrition oral care process has been developed to facilitate the triad of rehabilitation, nutrition and oral management. Each framework follows five key steps: assessment, diagnosis, goal setting, intervention, and monitoring. Of these, the diagnosis and goal setting steps are performed collaboratively by multidisciplinary teams specializing in rehabilitation, nutrition and oral management.

Background: The gut microbiome has emerged as a potential influencer of muscle health; however, its role in hospitalized patients remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate the association between gut microbiome diversity and skeletal muscle mass, strength, and quality in hospitalized post-stroke patients.

Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study of post-stroke patients admitted to a rehabilitation facility.
