Vector induced humoral responses after rVSVΔG-ZEBOV-GP immunization identify vaccinated individuals and correlate with Ebola virus glycoprotein antibodies.

Background: The robustness and persistence of vaccine antigen-induced antibodies are often used as proxy indicators of vaccine efficacy, but immune responses to vaccine vectors are typically less well-defined. Our study considered the kinetics of immunoglobulin (IgG) responses against the vector (vesicular stomatitis Indiana virus [VSIV]) nucleoprotein (N) and the inserted antigen (Ebola virus [EBOV]) glycoprotein (GP1,2) components of the rVSVΔG-ZEBOV-GP (rVSV-ZEBOV) vaccine and evaluated their use as biomarkers to confirm self-reported vaccination status.

Methods: From the Partnership for Research on Ebola Virus in Liberia (PREVAIL) I clinical trial (NCT02344407), we randomly selected 212 participants who received rVSV-ZEBOV (n=107) or placebo (n=105).

Association between infant feeding and ADHD development in childhood: a birth cohort study in Taiwan.

Background: Infant feeding plays a vital role in neurodevelopment, and a lack of breastfeeding and complementary feeding may increase the risk of developing attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). However, empirical evidence on this relationship remains uncertain, as most studies are based on cross-sectional designs. Therefore, this study aimed to examine this temporal relationship using longitudinal data from a birth cohort.

Identifying CFIR Inner Setting Factors in the Implementation of a Salon-Based Intervention to Reduce Barriers and Improve Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Uptake Among Black Women in US South.

US Black women are disproportionally represented in new HIV diagnoses. PrEP is effective in HIV prevention, but Black women's uptake is low. The UPDOs salon-based intervention is effective in overcoming barriers to care but scaling implementation is needed.

Advancing implementation science in community settings: the implementation strategies applied in communities (ISAC) compilation.

Background: Implementation strategies have predominantly been operationalized and studied in clinical settings. Implementation strategies are also needed to improve evidence-based intervention (EBI) integration in community settings, but there is a lack of systematic characterization of their use, which limits generalizability of findings. The goals of this study were to determine which implementation strategies are most used to deliver primary prevention EBIs in community settings, develop a compilation and pragmatic strategy selection process with accompanying guidance tools, and understand practitioners' preferences for dissemination.

Evaluation of waning of IgG antibody responses after rVSVΔG-ZEBOV-GP and Ad26.ZEBOV, MVA-BN-Filo Ebola virus disease vaccines: a modelling study from the PREVAC randomized trial.

rVSVΔG-ZEBOV-GP and Ad26.ZEBOV, MVA-BN-Filo are WHO-prequalified vaccination regimens against Ebola virus disease (EVD). Challenges associated with measuring long-term clinical protection warrant the evaluation of immune response kinetics after vaccination.
