Seroprevalence of measles antibody among immigrants in Gwangju, South Korea.

Introduction: Measles remains a public health concern, particularly among populations with suboptimal vaccination coverage, including immigrants. Understanding the seroprevalence of measles antibodies in immigrant populations is essential to inform tailored vaccination strategies and reduce the risk of measles reintroduction.

Methods: This study evaluated measles IgG seroprevalence among 651 immigrants from 30 countries residing in Gwangju, South Korea.

Methods: Anti-proliferative effect of CBG was examined using MTT assay and two colorectal cancer cells (SW480 and LoVo cells). Cell death ratio was analyzed using Annexin V/PI staining experiment.

Solid acid catalysts have attracted much attention in cellulose hydrolysis due to their high product selectivity, easy preparation and reusability. However, most current researches only focus on modifying their surface functional groups but overlook the impact of carrier shape on hydrolytic performance. Herein, we synthesize a series of rod-shaped silica with varying sizes for cellulose hydrolysis to analyze the shape mode to enhance the breaking of cellulose structure during solid-solid reaction.

Goal-directed fluid therapy on the postoperative complications of laparoscopic hepatobiliary or pancreatic surgery: An interventional comparative study.

Background: Intraoperative fluid balance significantly affects patients' outcomes. Goal-directed fluid therapy (GDFT) has reduced the incidence of major postoperative complications by 20% for 30 days after open abdominal surgery. Little is known about GDFT during laparoscopic surgery.
