Background: Lysophosphatidylcholine acyltransferase 3 (LPCAT3) promotes ferroptosis through the incorporating polyunsaturated fatty acids into membrane phospholipids, however, its role in serous ovarian cancer remains unclear. Here explored cancer proliferation and metastasis after modulating LPCAP3.

Methods: LPCAT3 protein in ovarian cancer tissues was detected using bioinformatic and immunohistoche mical assays.

Improving lignocellulose degradation and organic matter conversion in agricultural and livestock wastes remains a great challenge. Here, the contribution of humic acid (HA) to lignocellulose degradation was investigated, focusing on the abundance of key microbial species and carbohydrate-active enzymes during aerobic composting. The results demonstrated that the addition of HA not only increased the complexity of the microbial network, but also enhanced the positive interaction between microorganism.

DNA-segment copy number variations (DSCNVs), such as deletions and duplications, are important sources of genomic structural variation. However, types and sizes of DSCNVs in wheat, as well as their genome-wide distribution and potential functions are poorly known. Here, we identified 198,985 DSCNVs by investigating 491 genomes of common wheat, which accounted for 20% of the entire genome.

Objective: The objective of this study was to determine whether insulin resistance (IR) could be used as a predictor of poor prognosis at 3 months after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH).

Methods: The study included patients aged 18 years or older with a confirmed diagnosis of SAH due to ruptured aneurysm from January 2021 to March 2024. Patients with confirmed diabetes mellitus and taking glucose-lowering drugs, or taking lipid-lowering drugs, or SAH not due to ruptured aneurysm, or comorbid systemic diseases were excluded.
