Clinical Characteristics, Risk Factors and Outcomes of Invasive Fungal Disease in Critically III Patients with Hematological Malignancy: A Retrospective Study.

Background: Invasive fungal disease (IFD) poses significant challenges for critically ill patients with hematological malignancies (HMs). However, there is limited research on the clinical characteristics, risk factors, and outcomes of IFD within this population.

Method: A retrospective study was conducted at a tertiary center in China.

Transcranial alternating current stimulation inhibits ferroptosis and promotes functional recovery in spinal cord injury via the cGMP-PKG signalling pathway.

Aims: This study explores the potential of neuromodulation, specifically transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), as a promising rehabilitative therapy in spinal cord injury (SCI).

Main Methods: By meticulously optimizing treatment parameters and durations, our objective was to enhance nerve regeneration and facilitate functional recovery. To assess the efficacy of tACS, our experiments used the rat T10 SCI model.

Whole-genome resequencing reveals collagen-related genes in Kele pigs.

Objective: To verify the accuracy of collagen-specific SNP mutation loci of Kele pigs selected by whole genome resequencing, and to excavate collagen-related genes of Kele pigs, so as to lay a foundation for further molecular selection.

Methods: Based on whole genome resequencing, candidate genes related to collagen trait of Kele pig were screened for gene annotation. Through KEGG and GO enrichment analysis of differential genes, we selected four genes that may affect collagen trait of collagen pig, namely COL9A1, COL6A5, COL4A3 and COL4A4.

Preliminary exploration of metagenomic sequencing for pathogenic identification in infectious uveitis.

Purpose: To evaluate the advantages and clinical utility of metagenomic sequencing (MGS) in diagnosing infectious uveitis pathogens.

Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 20 infectious uveitis patients (20 eyes) who received treatments at the Affiliated Eye Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2020 to February 2021. Anterior aqueous humor of the patients was collected and analyzed using MGS.

Background: Essential tremor (ET) is one of the most prevalent neurodegenerative disorders, with surgery serving as the principal treatment option. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of research in the field of ET surgery from 2004 to 2024, aiming to identify current research hotspots and inform future research directions.

Methods: This study employs CiteSpace to analyze publication trends, countries/institutions, authors, keywords, and co-cited references in ET surgery, using the Web of Science core database from 2004 to 2024 to delineate the research pathways.
