: Routine activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and prothrombin time (PT) measurements do not indicate hypercoagulability in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and acute cerebral infarction (ACI). : Hypercoagulability in patients with AMI or ACI was evaluated using a clot waveform analysis of the APTT or a small amount of tissue factor activation assay (sTF/FIXa). In the CWA, the derivative peak time (DPT), height (DPH), width (DPW), and area the under the curve (AUC) were evaluated.

The hemostatic ability of various FVIII reagents was examined via clot waveform analysis (CWA). : APTT was measured using 12 APTT reagents, a small amount of tissue factor-induced FIX activation (sTF/FIXa) and a small amount of thrombin time (sTT) in order to examine 10 FVIII reagents and reference plasma (RP) using CWA.

Therefore, hemostatic abnormalities in patients with HCC were examined using a clot waveform analysis (CWA). Hemostatic abnormalities in 88 samples from HCC patients, 48 samples from LC patients and 153 samples from patients with chronic liver diseases (CH) were examined using a CWA-activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) and small amount of tissue factor induced FIX activation (sTF/FIXa) assay.

Methods: AMed Aker clasps were fabricated by selective laser sintering of approximately 50 μm Co-Cr alloy powders. After the nodules and fins on the inner surface of the AMed clasps were removed and morphological correction was performed, a dental technician manually polished the clasps as a control.
