Objective: Although child safety seats are highly effective in preventing injuries, they are frequently misused. Experts have identified two leading "critical misuses": (1) loose harness straps and (2) loose vehicle attachment at the base. We designed an innovative child safety seat system that educates, instructs, and alarms participants of safety seat errors.

Existing literature on Black caregiver's interactions with their children has overwhelmingly focused on parenting deficits and interventions designed to "fix" Black families. In utilizing the BlackCreate framework (2023), this study explores how Black caregivers intentionally crafted learning spaces for their children within the context of a six month intervention. Brilliant Joy in a Box was a six-month intervention developed in partnership with a Black woman entrepreneur that delivered caregiver-child Black history home learning boxes to families during the COVID-19 pandemic with the goal of addressing the impacts of persistent historical educational inequities for Black youth, the disproportionate impact of the pandemic Black families, and requests from community members seeking additional programming during the winter months.

Livestock keepers who operate on a small scale in the United Kingdom are often described as either smallholders or hobby farmers; however, this is not always the case. There is another distinct population in Scotland. The crofting system promotes the preservation of a way of life that is significant to the cultural heritage of Scotland, whilst at the same time utilising and maintaining marginal land that could otherwise be deemed of very low productive value.

Intravascular imaging has become an integral part of the diagnostic and management strategies for intracoronary pathologies. In this White Paper we summarize current evidence and its implications on the use of intravascular imaging in interventional cardiology practice. The areas addressed are planning and optimization of percutaneous coronary intervention, management of stent failure, and evaluation of ambiguous coronary lesions and myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary disease.
