However, there are often delays in these results influencing clinical practice. We developed a knowledge transfer and exchange strategy to support research teams, aiming to identify activities along the research process to maximise and accelerate the research impact.

Implementation of recommendations made by the patient and public involvement representatives for STAMPEDE2 could optimise the impact of QOL studies, with a benefit for participants and collection of invaluable data for cancer care research.

Hit it hard: qualitative patient perspectives on the optimisation of immune checkpoint inhibition.

Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors have transformed the treatment landscape of many cancers, including melanoma and renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Randomised trials are evaluating outcomes from reduced ICI treatment schedules with the aim of improving quality of life, tolerability, and cost-effectiveness. This study aims to provide insight into patient and carer's perspectives of these trials.
