Sensory Processing Sensitivity and Quality of Life Among Cancer Patients and Their Family Caregivers: An Actor-Partner Interdependence Model Analysis.

Objective: Studies report a negative impact of sensory processing sensitivity (SPS) on health outcomes, but evidence from patient-caregiver dyads is scarce. This study aimed to simultaneously examine the independent and interdependent impact of SPS on quality of life (QoL) among cancer patients and their family caregivers.

Methods: In this two-stage random sampling cross-sectional study, we conducted a dyadic analysis of data collected from cancer patients and their family caregivers in southwest China.

Reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) has emerged as a promising non-invasive tool for monitoring treatment outcomes in AK, but the absence of standardized evaluation protocols limits its clinical applicability.

Knockout of cadmium sensitive gene 1 confers enhanced cadmium tolerance in rice (Oryza sativa L.) by regulating the subcellular distribution of cadmium.

Cadmium (Cd) is a heavy metal which is toxic to both plants and animal. The high content of Cd in the rice grain severely threatens human's health. Here, we identified a Cd sensitive gene, named Cadmium Sensitive Gene 1 (OsCSG1), playing an important role in improving Cd tolerance in rice at seedling stage.
