(1) Background: The objectives of this study were to assess survival of patients with a diagnosis of brain metastases secondary to gynaecologic malignancy and the impact of clinicopathological factors on prognosis in this population. (2) Methods: A retrospective cohort of patients with gynaecologic cancers diagnosed with brain metastases treated with radiation at a tertiary care centre from 1 January 2004 until 30 September 2023 was studied. Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test were used to evaluate survival, and cox regression was used to identify significant predictive factors of survival.

The effects of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and the medications used to treat it on sexual and reproductive health can be significant, impacting the quality of life of patients across gender identities. This article presents insights from a roundtable discussion facilitated by the Crohn's and Colitis Young Adults Network (CCYAN) between young adult patients with IBD and medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, and trainees/medical students. It underscores the distinction between sexual and reproductive health, emphasizing the need to address both aspects comprehensively.

The aberrant accumulation of cytotoxic protein aggregates is a hallmark of various neurodegenerative and non-neurodegenerative ailments, necessitating the development of sensitive and selective tools for their detection. Herein, we report a series of morpholine-anchored fluorescent probes, denoted as SC-nmor (n = 2, 4, 6), designed for facile visualization of protein aggregates. These probes display notable changes in their photophysical properties upon binding with protein aggregates, owing to their high sensitivity to the fibrillar microenvironment.

Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) is a developmental disability that can cause difficulties with communication, emotional regulation and executive function, making people with FASD vulnerable to adverse involvement within the criminal justice system. Justice professionals' knowledge and attitudes of FASD is critical to identifying appropriate responses, management and sentencing in the justice system. This research aims to understand the FASD knowledge, attitudes and practices among lawyers working in the justice sector in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
