From the perspective of an anesthesiologist longstandingly active in pain diagnostic and pain treatment the pain interview, the interdisciplinary pain consulting and the interdisciplinary pain conference as well as the multidisciplinary pain treatment are elucidated. The value of the interdisciplinary pain conference is viewed in the context of comprehensive pain treatment. In order to make decisions every feasible way of evaluation and subsequent treatment must be recognized.

The effective trap density is increased by a factor of 3, and the photoconductivity by a factor of 30, and the photorefractive response at a grating spacing of 0.15 mu;m is accelerated by a factor of 400.

The respiratory effects of 1-cis-2-(a-dimethylamino-m-hydroxybenzyl) cyclohexanol-HCl (WY-15,705) were compared to those of pentazocine when given intramuscularly to man. It was found that WY-15,705 was 2.8 times as potent in terms of its respiratory depressant effects.
