Purpose: Accurate detection of central venous catheter (CVC) misplacement is crucial for patient safety and effective treatment. Existing artificial intelligence (AI) often grapple with the limitations of label inaccuracies and output interpretations that lack clinician-friendly comprehensibility. This study aims to introduce an approach that employs segmentation of support material and anatomy to enhance the precision and comprehensibility of CVC misplacement detection.

These conditions arise from hemizygous or heterozygous deletions, along with point mutations, affecting CNKSR2, a gene located at Xp22.12.

In the absence of direct head-to-head trials comparing the efficacy and safety of the different CDKIs, the individual choice of treatment in everyday practice is complex. Inverse probability of treatment weighting was used to emulate a head-to-head comparison of palbociclib +ET (PALBO) and ribociclib +ET (RIBO) in patients recruited into the prospective, observational, multicenter registry platform OPAL (NCT03417115).

The prospective, non-interventional CARO study (NCT02970747) investigated adherence, effectiveness, and safety of carfilzomib in patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) in the German real-world setting. In total, 359 patients were included at 69 sites.

Monitoring of progress of measles elimination requires enhanced surveillance and tracking of MeV strains, including documenting the absence of an endemically circulating strain. Due to a reduction in the number of circulating genotypes, additional sequence information, beyond the standardized 450 nucleotide window of the nucleoprotein (N450), is required to corroborate the information from epidemiological investigations and, ideally, fill in gaps in the surveillance data.
