Cortical lesions (CLs) have a low prevalence and are associated with physical disabilities in Japanese patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). However, the contribution of CLs to cognitive impairment remains unclear in Asian MS. Sixty-one prospectively enrolled MS patients underwent three-dimensional double inversion recovery MR imaging, the Brief Repeatable Battery of Neuropsychological Tests (BRB-N), the Apathy Scale (AS), the Fatigue Questionnaire (FQ), and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) within a 1-week period.

However, the cDNA consisted of 3 exons instead of 4 exons that were typically seen in other CXC chemokines. Here, we isolated a cDNA encoding the full-length variant of CXCL1L that we termed CXCL1Lβ.

Recently, it was shown that MSCs also have anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory functions. In this report, we investigated the regulatory function of MSCs in the development of inflammatory bone destruction in rats with adjuvant-induced arthritis (AA rats).
