This review aimed to identify and synthesize the perceptions of mental healthcare professionals, family members, and users about mental health crisis interventions for children and adolescents at hospitals and community mental health services. A qualitative systematic review was conducted following the Joanna Briggs Institution guidelines. The search was performed in 15 databases, with no temporal delimitation, and included studies in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Introduction: Opening the incubator side wall to insert a non-sterile length-measuring device carries the risk of microbial contamination and thermal instability for preterm infants. To reduce this inconvenience, a laser-based length-measuring board is proposed to measure body length from outside the incubator.

Methods: This device has two laser-line-shaped cursors which can be pointed to opposite ends of a segment to be measured.

Background/objectives: The associations between low birth weight (LBW) and the aggregation of metabolic risk factors (MRF) in youth remain ambiguous. Thus, this study analysed the interrelationship among MRF, LBW, and behavioural factors in adolescents.

This experiment evaluated the effects of bovine appeasing substance (BAS) administration at feedlot entry on growth, temperament, inflammation, response to vaccination, behavior, carcass characteristics, and meat quality of beef heifers. Thirty heifers were weaned and assigned to (d 0): (1) BAS (n = 15; SecureCattle; IRSEA Group) or (2) Saline (n = 15). On d 0, heifers were also vaccinated against respiratory diseases and slaughtered on d 150.
