Food Addit Contam Part A Chem Anal Control Expo Risk Assess

Since the safety of new-generation polyester-based internal coatings regarding the migration of non-intentionally added substances (NIAS) is poorly documented, studies are needed to identify NIAS originating from these food-contact materials (FCM). The aim of this study was to identify volatile and semi-volatile NIAS from polyester-based coatings in order to assess their hazard and ensure consumers' safety with regard to exposure from canned food. Extraction and migration tests were carried out on a single polyester-coated tin plate (5 batches) using two solvents: acetonitrile and ethanol 95%, then FCM's extracts and migrates were analysed by GC-MS.

Seven specific diets could be modelled for adults while only one overall diet was considered for children aged 3-17 years. The knowledge of the contamination levels of 78 known or suspected endocrine disrupting compounds in the foods constituting these diets, collected in the frame of the second French Total Diet Study, made it possible to explore the mixtures of EDs to which consumers are exposed.

Objective: To investigate the efficacy of 2 internet-based interventions based on cognitive behavioral therapy (ICBT) and interpersonal psychotherapy (IIPT) relative to a wait-list control group and each other.
Because of the deleterious effects of phthalates, regulations have been taken to decrease their use, and the needs for alternatives are increasing. Due to the concerns about the endocrine-disrupting properties of phthalates, it was deemed necessary to particularly investigate these effects for potential substitutes. In this study, we compared the endocrine activity of several already used potential alternative plasticizers (DEHT, DINCH, and TOTM) or new substitutes (POLYSORB® isosorbide and POLYSORB® ID 46) to one of 2 phthalates, DEHP and DINP.
