Background: The impact of below-the-knee (BK) runoff after drug-coated balloon (DCB) treatment in femoropopliteal (FP) lesions has not been well investigated.

Methods: This retrospective multicenter observational study enrolled 291 consecutive patients with lower extremity artery disease who underwent endovascular therapy with DCBs for FP lesions between January 2018 and December 2021. Patients were classified into four groups based on the BK runoff.

Hybrid surgery for imminent rupture of superior mesenteric artery aneurysms.

A case of a superior mesenteric artery aneurysm presented with an impending rupture. The aneurysm was located in the right side branch of the superior mesenteric artery. The patient underwent an emergency hybrid procedure, which included aneurysm embolization and exclusion of the aneurysm with an endoluminal stent graft.

Skill Mastery and Learning Curve Analysis in Fenestrated Endovascular Aortic Repair with Physician-Modified Endograft.

This study aims to delineate the unique learning curve for fenestrated endovascular aortic repair (FEVAR) at our institution. We measured the FEVAR-specific procedure time (FSPT) as the duration from device deployment to bridging stent completion. To maintain consistency in technical complexity, the study focused on 38 cases with four-fenestration FEVAR for juxtarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms, selected from 103 of all FEVAR procedures between June 2011 and February 2024.

Remodeling of the Proximal Sealing Zone and Sac Shrinkage after Endovascular Aortic Repair or Fenestrated Endovascular Aortic Repair.

Background: Variations in sac shrinkage (SS) are noted between endovascular aneurysm repair for abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) and fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair for short neck AAA. These variations may originate from difference in the geometry and length of proximal sealing, which influences the quality and durability of the seal. This study aimed to explore the disparities in aneurysm exclusion and sac remodeling across these 2 scenarios.

Mid-term outcomes of physician-modified endograft therapy for complex aortic aneurysms.

Objectives: Our goal was to evaluate early and mid-term outcomes of physician-modified endografting for pararenal and thoraco-abdominal aortic aneurysms from 10 Japanese aortic centres.

Methods: From January 2012 to March 2022, a total of 121 consecutive adult patients who underwent physician-modified endografting for pararenal and thoraco-abdominal aortic aneurysms were enrolled. We analysed early and mid-term postoperative outcomes, including postoperative complications and mortality.
