This study aims at providing estimates on the transmission risk of SARS-CoV-2 in schools and day-care centres. We calculated secondary attack rates (SARs) using individual-level data from state-wide mandatory notification of index cases in educational institutions, followed by contact tracing and PCR-testing of high-risk contacts. From August to December 2020, every sixth of overall 784 independent index cases was associated with secondary cases in educational institutions.

Due to the severity of this condition, it is estimated that over 11 million people die from sepsis each year. Despite intensive research in the field, there is still no specific therapy for sepsis.

Even though several new therapy approaches are under investigation, it is difficult to achieve life prolongation and/or improvement of patient's quality of life. The aggressiveness and progression of glioblastoma is initially orchestrated by the biological complexity of its genetic phenotype and ability to respond to cancer therapy via changing its molecular patterns, thereby developing resistance.

Drug therapies, physical therapy rehabilitation, and lifestyle modifications such as increased physical activity are standard protocol for symptom management, yet persons with MS tend to be physically inactive [2,3]. Additionally, single-modality interventions do not inherently address the challenges faced concurrently by individuals with MS [4,5].

In this study, a novel manufacturing technique-an optimized form of precision casting-and a novel surface modification to promote osseointegration-calcium and phosphorus ion implantation into the implant surface-were tested in vivo.
Methods: Cylindrical Ti6Al4V implants were inserted bilaterally into the tibia of 110 rats.
