Purpose: Adjuvant radiotherapy has been a standard of care for craniopharyngioma. Nevertheless, it is a rare disease with multiple presentations, and results with conservative surgery followed by radiotherapy (RT) can vary. We compared treatment results for both adult and pediatric patients.

Due to oral tendencies in childhood, it is hypothesized that individuals are infected around this age and develop symptoms as lately as during young adulthood. Although it is considered a benign disease, it may cause great impact in the patient's quality of life due to epilepsy, visual symptoms, and hydrocephalus, which eventually requires frequent hospitalizations.

Background: Craniosynostosis are cranial deformities resulting from the early closure of 1 or more sutures. Concomitant facial changes are complex and usually result from the involvement of multiple sutures, which may lead to restriction of cranial growth and brain expansion, ocular compression, and breathing difficulties. Surgical techniques to correct syndromic craniosynostosis have improved over time, considerably reducing the rate of complications of this procedure.

Aims: Our aim was to assess the utility of liquid biopsy for predicting progression of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) after surgical resection or chemotherapy.
Methods: A total of 72 patients with PDAC were retrospectively enrolled for this study, 33 treated surgically and 39 given chemotherapy, either FOLFIRINOX (oxaliplatin/irinotecan/fluorouracil/leucovorin) or gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel.
Purposes: Brachytherapy has been indicated as an alternative option for treating cystic craniopharyngiomas. Despite the difficulties regarding the complex nuclear infrastructure and consequent small number of brachytherapy studies, recent discoveries relating tumour characteristics to sensitivity to brachytherapy have stimulated this extensive systematic review and meta-analysis of the recent results aiming to summarise its efficacy and complications.
Methods: The systematic review was structured using PRISMA statements.
