Purpose: To describe presumed minor salivary gland secretion in a patient with a history of oral mucous membrane graft in conjunctival plastic surgery.

Design: Interventional case report.

Methods: A 74-year-old woman who had had an oral mucous membrane graft in the left eye complained of mucous discharge.

Lymphoepithelioma-like esophageal carcinoma: report of a case.

We herein report the rare case of a patient suffering from lymphoepithelioma-like poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus. The patient was a 74-year-old woman in whom an esophageal tumor was found during an operation for thyroid cancer. After performing a subtotal thyroidectomy and cervical esophagectomy, esophageal reconstruction was performed using a free jejunal graft.

Malignant gastrointestinal stromal tumor of the small intestine: radiologic-pathologic correlation.

Neoplasms of the small intestine are very rare. Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are one of the new undifferentiated stromal tumors of the gastrointestinal tract diagnosed by immunohistochemistry. We present a case of a malignant GIST arising from the small intestine and report the radiologic characteristics of the tumor and pathological correlation.

Gallbladder cancer associated with cholesterosis.

We report herein two cases of carcinoma in situ of the gallbladder associated with cholesterosis. The patient in case 1 was an 81-year-old man who underwent a cholecystectomy for cholelithiasis. The resected specimens revealed gallbladder cancer in the fundus which was diagnosed histologically as mucinous carcinoma.
