Background: Limited English proficiency patients are required under federal law to receive language-concordant care, yet they still receive substandard discharge instructions compared to English-speaking patients. We aimed to summarize the interventions carried out to improve discharge instructions in the limited English proficiency population.
Methods: We conducted a scoping review of academic and gray literature from the United States using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis Protocols for Scoping Reviews guidelines.
Objectives: Chronic venous disease (CVeD) is a multifactorial and debilitating condition that has a high prevalence in Western countries and an important associated socioeconomic burden. Varicose veins (VVs) are the most common manifestations of CVeD. Pathologically, many morphological and functional changes have been described in VVs, which most notably affect venous wall integrity.

To address these limitations of the current state-of-the-art, we propose a framework named Reflective Framework for Performance Management (REFORM) of real-time hybrid simulation. REFORM will support the execution of more complex RTHS experiments than can be conducted today, and will allow them to be configured rapidly, performed safely, and analyzed thoroughly.

Background & Aims: The antiplatelet effect of low-dose aspirin, via inhibition of cyclooxygenase-1, might contribute to its ability to reduce the risk of colorectal cancer (CRC). Antiplatelet agents with a different mechanism, such as clopidogrel, might have the same effects. We aimed to quantify the effects of low-dose aspirin and clopidogrel on the risk of CRC in a Mediterranean population.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the association between nail dystrophy (ND) and disease activity, accrued organ damage, capillaroscopic abnormalities, autoantibodies, and some markers of endothelial cell activation in patients with SLE.
Methods: This was a cross-sectional study of SLE patients from a rheumatology clinic in a tertiary care hospital.
