The Woven EndoBridge (WEB) device has become a prominent treatment for wide-neck bifurcation intracranial aneurysms since its FDA approval in 2018. However, the impact of anticoagulant therapy on its efficacy and patient outcomes remains underexplored. This study aims to evaluate the effects of postoperative anticoagulant use on aneurysm occlusion, retreatment rates, and functional outcomes following WEB device implantation.

Middle meningeal artery embolization with standalone or adjunctive coiling for treatment of chronic subdural hematoma: Systematic review and meta-analysis.

Introduction: Middle meningeal artery embolization (MMAe) is increasingly utilized as a primary or secondary treatment for chronic subdural hematoma (cSDH) and is usually performed with liquid embolics or particles. Outcomes after MMAe with coiling as a standalone treatment, or an adjunct to other agents, have not been reviewed.

Methods: A systematic review of the literature was performed to identify all original research that included patients who underwent standalone or adjunctive coiling for MMAe.

A Cross-Sectional Study of the Use of Antigen Rapid Diagnostic Tests for Community Identification of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 in Kenya.

Mass testing with antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic tests (Ag-RDT), including testing of asymptomatic individuals, is expected to improve the identification of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) infections. Mass testing was offered at large gatherings to determine the SARS-CoV-2 case detection rate and the acceptance and cost of implementing this community testing strategy. In 49 high-attendance venues in Kiambu County, Kenya, from June to September 2022, individuals 2 years and older were offered coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) testing, vaccination, and participation in a survey.

Prediction of Symptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage Before Mechanical Thrombectomy Using Machine Learning in Patients with Anterior Circulation Large Vessel Occlusion.

Background: Symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) after mechanical thrombectomy (MT) is associated with worse outcomes. We sought to develop and internally validate a machine learning (ML) model to predict sICH prior to MT in patients with anterior circulation large vessel occlusion.

Methods: Consecutive adults who underwent MT for internal carotid artery/M1/M2 occlusions at a single institution were reviewed.

Parotid sialolithiasis - Long term follow-up analyzing surgical approaches.

Objectives: Present follow-up data comparing transoral and transfacial parotid gland procedures for stone removal to offer insight addressing technical considerations and complications.

Methods: Retrospective study of a consecutive series of surgical treatments for parotid sialolithiasis from 2013 to 2018 at an academic institution by one surgeon provided review of 16 transoral and 10 transfacial procedures supplemented by long-term follow-up through telephone or mail. Clinical and radiographic parameters, additional treatment, and persistence of symptoms were evaluated.
