High degree of fluorination for ether electrolytes has resulted in improved cycling stability of lithium metal batteries due to stable solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) formation and good oxidative stability. However, the sluggish ion transport and environmental concerns of high fluorination degree drive the need to develop less fluorinated structures. Here, we depart from the traditional ether backbone and introduce bis(2-fluoroethoxy)methane (F2DEM), featuring monofluorination of the acetal backbone.

Osteoporotic fracture is a special type of pathological fracture characterized by high morbidity, high disability, high mortality and low diagnosis and treatment rate. Currently, the main problem with clinical intervention for osteoporotic fractures is the lack of proper understanding by doctors (especially orthopedic surgeons) of the pathologic changes in the disease itself. Aggressive surgical treatment is very important, but it cannot fundamentally solve the serious consequences of delayed healing of osteoporotic fractures and the occurrence of re-fractures.

Background: Cortical morphometry is an intermediate phenotype that is closely related to the genetics and onset of major depressive disorder (MDD), and cortical morphometric networks are considered more relevant to disease mechanisms than brain regions. We sought to investigate changes in cortical morphometric networks in MDD and their relationship with genetic risk in healthy controls.
Methods: We recruited healthy controls and patients with MDD of Han Chinese descent.

Spinal cord injury (SCI) represents a complex pathophysiological process involving the interaction of multiple cell types. Conventional sequencing methods can only detect the average gene expression level of the damaged local cell populations, which is difficult to reflect its heterogeneity. Therefore, new technologies are needed to reveal the intercellular heterogeneity and the complex intercellular interactions of the damaged lesions.
