An age-related nomogram for antral follicle count: an observational study of 3821 women.

Research Question: What is the relationship between antral follicle count (AFC) and chronological age, and what are the expected values for AFC?

Design: This was a retrospective cohort study at a specialist gynaecological ultrasound centre in London, UK. Women presenting to a gynaecology diagnostic unit for investigation of symptoms or routine check-up, and undergoing transvaginal ultrasound (TVUS) examinations, between 1 January 2017 and 22 September 2022 were included in this study.

Results: In total, 8821 TVUS records from 7573 patients were analysed.

Long-term risks of childhood surgery.

Introduction: Several patients, who underwent major reconstruction under the care of an experienced pediatric urologist are now, as adults, several years later, appearing with long term problems and complications. This consensus process was undertaken to give an overview of long term consequences (and their management) of urological childhood surgery.

Material And Methods: Several known urologists with experience in life-long follow up and revisional surgery of patients with congenital conditions were asked to review literature and comment based on their experience about several complications of childhood surgery.

Variability of response to early puberty induction demonstrated by transverse uterine diameter measurement and a novel method of 3D breast imaging.

Objective: Induction of puberty with exogenous oestrogen results in considerable variability in final uterine and breast volumes. We set out to quantify the variability of these two outcome measures with a view to establishing monitoring methods that could be used to individualise treatment protocols.

Relationship and sexual experiences in women with early-onset oestrogen deficiency: Comparison between women with Turner syndrome and premature ovarian insufficiency.

Objective: Age at first date and sexual intercourse have been observed to be delayed in women with Turner syndrome (TS), with delayed puberty being the main factor. We sought to assess relationship and sexual experiences comparing women with TS and premature ovarian insufficiency (POI).

Design: Cross-sectional observational study.
