Late Metastasis in Conjunctival Adenosquamous Carcinoma.

Purpose: To present a rare case of metastatic conjunctival adenosquamous carcinoma (ASC) in the context of limited literature on the prognosis of ASC and suggested follow-up and surveillance.

Case Report: We report a case of conjunctival ASC that metastasized to cervical lymph nodes five years after histological confirmation of complete local excision.

Conclusion: Long-term clinical follow-up and surveillance imaging are warranted to allow early detection of disease recurrence and/or metastasis.

Backgrounds: Nasoalveolar molding (NAM) application is among presurgical management (PSM) techniques used for infants with cleft lip and palate (CLP). It helps to approximate the palatal cleft and to reshape the nasoalveolar complex prior to primary lip repair. This study aimed to explore types of PSM and the dental speciality provision for infants with CLP in Baghdad.

Prevalence and influence of pulmonary hypertension in patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy undergoing septal myectomy.

Objectives: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is an independent predictor of all-cause mortality among patients with obstructive and nonobstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). However, there is little information on the influence of coexisting PH on long-term survival following septal myectomy. This study investigates the prevalence of PH among patients with obstructive HCM undergoing septal myectomy and analyzes patient survival and the course of PH after operation.

Novel Resistances Provide New Avenues to Manage Alternaria Leaf Spot () in Canola (), Mustard (), and Other Brassicaceae Crops.

Alternaria leaf spot () can be a devastating disease in canola () and mustard (), but there are no highly effective host resistances available. Screening of 150 diverse Brassicaceae varieties under glasshouse conditions highlighted important novel resistances. In particular, '4076' and 'Wasabi Rocket' had complete resistance across disease assessment parameters (leaf incidence [%LDI]; severity [%LAD]; consequent defoliation [%LCI]).
