Background: Community pharmacists commonly see individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and are in an ideal position to mitigate harm from inappropriate prescribing. We sought to develop a relevant medication list for community pharmacists to dose adjust or avoid in individuals with an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) below 30 mL/min informed through a scoping review and modified Delphi panel of nephrology, geriatric and primary care pharmacists.

Methods: A scoping review was undertaken to identify higher risk medications common to community pharmacy practice, which require a dose adaptation in individuals with advanced CKD.

Background/objectives: Pseudo-vascular network formation in vitro is considered a key characteristic of vasculogenic mimicry. While many cancer cell lines form pseudo-vascular networks, little is known about the spatiotemporal dynamics of these formations.

Methods: Here, we present a framework for monitoring and characterising the dynamic formation and dissolution of pseudo-vascular networks in vitro.

Objectives: The aim of this qualitative study was to explore the subjective experiences of consumers and staff members regarding the availability of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) in inpatient mental health units.

Methods: Mental health consumers and staff members ( = 16) from rehabilitation and forensic inpatient units were interviewed in 2022. Thematic analysis of the transcripts was undertaken.

Germline BRCA2 mutation carriers frequently develop luminal-like breast cancers, but it remains unclear how BRCA2 mutations affect mammary epithelial subpopulations. Here, we report that monoallelic Brca2 mammary organoids subjected to replication stress activate a transcriptional response that selectively expands Brca2 luminal cells lacking hormone receptor expression (HR-). While CyTOF analyses reveal comparable epithelial compositions among wildtype and Brca2 mammary glands, Brca2 HR- luminal cells exhibit greater organoid formation and preferentially survive and expand under replication stress.
