Background: The univoltine leaf beetle (Curtis, 1837b) is native to the Palaearctic Region from Japan to western Europe.This species was previously evaluated as a potential biological control agent against invasive populations of the woodland weed (Bieb.) Cavara & Grande (Brassicaceae) in North America, but rejected because it could harm native and at-risk populations of Brassicaceae.

Using heart rate data from wrist worn activity trackers to define thresholds for moderate to vigorous physical activity in children and young people with cystic fibrosis.

Background: Children and young people with cystic fibrosis (CYPwCF) are encouraged to do an average of 60 min of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) daily. However, there are no agreed heart rate (HR) thresholds for defining MVPA, so it is difficult to ascertain whether these targets are actually achieved. Wearable activity trackers enable continuous monitoring of fitness-related measures such as HR and could be used to measure duration and intensity of habitual MVPA.

A Qualitative Exploration of the Impact of Increasing Criminalization on Domestic Violence Support Workers: Nonfatal Strangulation as a Case Study.

Specialized nongovernmental domestic violence (DV) services provide critical support to victim/survivors. This research draws on 14 semistructured focus groups with 27 DV support workers to examine how expanded criminalization impacts support workers' roles using a case study of a 2016 nonfatal strangulation offense legislated in Queensland, Australia. Our results describe a lack of governmental support intersecting with increased complexity and higher workload burden resulting from expanded criminalization.

Telehealth-aided outpatient management of acute heart failure in a specialist virtual ward compared with standard care.

Aims: The aim of this propensity score matched cohort study was to assess the outcomes of telehealth-guided outpatient management of acute heart failure (HF) in our virtual ward (HFVW) compared with hospitalized acute HF patients.

Methods And Results: This cohort study (May 2022-October 2023) assessed outcomes of telehealth-guided outpatient acute HF management using bolus intravenous furosemide in a HF-specialist VW. Propensity score matching (PSM) was performed using logistic regression to adjust for potential differences in baseline patient characteristics between HFVW and standard care [Get With The Guidelines-HF score, clinical frailty score (CFS), Charlson co-morbidity index (CCI), NT-proBNP, and ejection fraction].
