A New Biomarker Copeptin in Determining Disease Severity in COVID-19.

Objective: Copeptin is released from the posterior pituitary gland into systemic circulation in response to various stimuli, including stress. We aimed to evaluate the role of copeptin in determining the severity of the disease in patients with COVID-19.
Materials And Methods: The study was conducted prospectively in two centers between June 1, 2022, and October 1, 2022.
Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC) in patients who underwent coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery and to compare the results of patients in whom ORC was used or not used for control of bleeding.
Method: Pre-, intra-, and post-operative demographic and medical parameters of the patients in whom ORC was used or not used were compared. Quantitative data were analyzed with mean and standard deviation.
