Introduction: Hearing loss is a commonly occurring condition with dementia. Research already presented a theoretical framework for the auditory-cognitive interactions, though it is still unclear if and how professionals beyond audiologists act upon this interactions in clinical practice.
Methods: An online 64-item questionnaire was developed and evaluated respondents' work setting as well as their knowledge, experience, and awareness regarding hearing loss, cognitive decline, and the auditory-cognitive link.
Purpose: This study aimed to assess the magnitude and direction of dual-task interference in a listening effort dual-task paradigm in individuals with severe-to-profound hearing loss before and in the short- and long-term after cochlear implantation.
Design: The study sample consisted of 26 adult candidates for cochlear implantation with severe-to-profound hearing loss. The dual-task paradigm consisted of a primary speech understanding task, conducted in a quiet condition, and a favorable and unfavorable noise condition on the one hand and a secondary visual memory task on the other hand.
We consider the zero-dimensional quartic () vector model and present a complete study of the partition function (, ) and its logarithm, the free energy (, ), seen as functions of the coupling on a Riemann surface. We are, in particular, interested in the study of the transseries expansions of these quantities. The point of this paper is to recover such results using constructive field theory techniques with the aim to use them in the future for a rigorous analysis of resurgence in genuine quantum field theoretical models in higher dimensions.

However, comprehensive studies evaluating the test-retest reliability of multiple measures and stimuli within a single study are scarce, and a standardized clinical protocol for robust early markers of SNHL remains elusive. To address these gaps, this study explores the intra-subject variability of various potential electroencephalogram- (EEG-) biomarkers for cochlear synaptopathy (CS) and other SNHL-markers in the same individuals.

High noise levels lead to worse outcomes and impede recovery. The objective of this study is to measure the sound levels in the PACU and identify potential causes for increased sound levels.
