Treatment of a Neglected and Infected Knee Dislocation with a Traction Pin: A Case Report.

Neglected knee dislocations are rare and challenging orthopedic injuries. We report using a traction pin to treat a neglected knee dislocation and a concurrent infection. Following the primary reduction with extensive soft-tissue release, a proximal tibial traction pin was used to obtain complete reduction via traction weight change.

Acute Irreducible Rotational Patellar Dislocation with Patellar Tendon Rupture: A Case Report.

Case: In this report, we present a case of acute patellar dislocation with both vertical and longitudinal rotation of the patella. As a result of rotation in the longitudinal axis, the articular surface of the patella faced outward, and the dorsal surface faced the femoral condyle. The patient underwent open reduction.

Verbal fluency in Lebanese children: Preliminary normative data, sociodemographic determinants, and patterns of clustering and switching.

This study assessed the quantitative and qualitative performance of Lebanese-speaking children on verbal fluency (VF) tasks and investigated the effects of sociodemographic characteristics. This study included 219 Lebanese children aged between 5 and 12 years and 11 months, whose native language is Lebanese-Arabic. Semantic and letter VF tasks were assessed using a range of categories and letters.

Marjolin's ulcer of the forearm from 30-year-neglection of external fixator.

Background: Marjolin's ulcers are a rare form of malignancy that present at regions exposed to chronic infection. They present with a clinical triad of nodularity, induration, and ulceration greater than 3 months.

Case Report: We present herein, an extremely rare case of Marjolin's ulcer of the forearm, secondary to osteomyelitis, resulting from a 30-year neglection of external fixator used to treat a war injury of the forearm.
