Geoelectric characterisation of the junction of seismically active Delhi Hardwar Ridge and Delhi Sargodha Ridge.

A magnetotelluric (MT) geophysical survey for the first time has been conducted for the geoelectric characterization of the junction of the contact zone of NNE-SSW striking Delhi Hardwar Ridge (DHR) and NW-SE trending Delhi Sargodha Ridge (DSR) in the Rohtak area, Haryana which has experienced 15 earthquakes of M2.0-M4.4 from April to August 2020.

Solitary Extra-axial Intracranial Primary Meningeal Pleomorphic Xanthoastrocytoma: An Extremely Rare Case.

Background: Pleomorphic xanthoastrocytomas (PXAs) are a rare type of astrocytoma, which, similar to other gliomas, can rarely arise from glial nests in the meninges, manifesting as an extra-axial mass. We describe a solitary extra-axial intracranial primary meningeal PXA in the pediatric age group, which was masquerading as a tentorial meningioma.

Background: Clinically, detection of malignant cells in serous body fluids is critical, as their presence implies the upstaging of the disease. Cytology of body cavity fluids serves as an important tool when other diagnostic tests cannot be performed. In most laboratories, currently, the effusion fluid samples are analysed chiefly by the conventional cytopreparatory (CCP) technique.

Treatment outcome and cost-effectiveness analysis of two chemotherapeutic regimens (BEP vs. VIP) for poor-prognosis metastatic germ cell tumors.

Background: In patients with small-volume disseminated disease of germ cell tumors, cure can be achieved with four cycles of bleomycin, etoposide, and cisplatin (BEP). However, around 20% of these cases are not curable. Strategies to improve cure rates have shown that none of the currently available modalities were superior to the others.

A case of primary rhabdomyosarcoma of the breast.

Primary rhabdomyosarcoma of the breast is a rarely reported in adults, and it occurrence is mostly observed in children. We report a case of primary rhabdomyosarcoma of breast in a 40-year-old lady, who presented in early stage and is in complete remission after one year of treatment.
