PEAR1, also known as platelet endothelial aggregation receptor 1, is known to play a crucial role in the migration and differentiation of muscle satellite cells (MuSCs). However, its specific effects on skeletal muscle development and regeneration require further exploration. In this study, the expression of PEAR1; the proliferation marker proteins of Pax7, CCNB1, and PCNA; and the key molecules of N1-ICD, N2-ICD, and Hes1 were all increased gradually during the process of C2C12 cell proliferation.

The ability to accurately quantify biological age could help monitor and control healthy aging. Epigenetic clocks have emerged as promising tools for estimating biological age, yet they have been developed from heterogeneous bulk tissues, and are thus composites of two aging processes, one reflecting the change of cell-type composition with age and another reflecting the aging of individual cell-types. There is thus a need to dissect and quantify these two components of epigenetic clocks, and to develop epigenetic clocks that can yield biological age estimates at cell-type resolution.

The rarity and heterogeneity of liposarcomas (LPS) pose significant challenges in their diagnosis and management. In this work, a series of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) engineering is designed and implemented. Through comprehensive characterization and performance evaluations, such as stability, thermal-driven desorption efficiency, as well as energy- and charge-transfer capacity, the engineering of group IV bimetallic MOFs emerges as particularly noteworthy.
