Purpose: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global public health issue, often associated with high mortality and morbidity, especially due to cardiovascular diseases. Epicardial adipose tissue (EAT), the visceral fat surrounding the heart, has been recognized as a significant factor in cardiovascular risk.
