The structure of isolates was elucidated by IR, UV, 1D-/2D-NMR, and HRESI-TOFMS data as well as by comparison with the reported spectroscopic data. Contamination of retail market meat with extended-spectrum beta-lactamase genes in Vietnam.

The contamination of retail meat with antibiotic-resistant bacteria poses a substantial public health risk because of the potential spread of these bacteria within communities. The contamination of retail meat with extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL)-producing bacteria was investigated in four cities in Vietnam using real-time PCR, employing ESBL marker genes. This method provides a more comprehensive assessment of ESBL-producing bacterial contamination in meat samples than culture-based methods because it directly detects resistance genes from the extracted sample DNA.

Background: Bite force is one of the important factors that determine the chewing efficiency of molars. This study aimed to investigate the relationship of the maximum bite force (MBF) to the 3-dimensional (3D) arrangement of the first mandibular molars in Angle's class I healthy adults using a digital protocol.

An online descriptive cross-sectional survey was conducted at 1 hospital in Vietnam. Participants completed survey questionnaires including demographics, professional experience, Palliative Care Self-Efficacy, Palliative Care Quiz for Nursing, Frommelt Attitudes Toward Care of the Dying-Form B, Santa Clara Brief Compassion Scale, and Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form.
