Healthcare providers often collect PROMs through conversations. However, the manual entry of these data into electronic medical records can be burdensome for healthcare providers.

Methods: Conducted at a single centre from December 2020 to September 2022, this prospective study involved 71 patients mainly undergoing head and neck free flap reconstructions, using the Pocket LDF™ for continuous perfusion monitoring.
Results: Out of the 71 cases, data from 69 cases were analysed after excluding those with significant noise or sensor detachment.
Glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchoring is a conserved post-translational modification in eukaryotes. This modification allows acceptor proteins to be expressed at the cell surface as GPI-anchored proteins (GPI-APs), which play critical roles in various biological processes. It has been proposed that remodeling of GPI after transferring acceptor proteins, including the PGAP1-dependent deacylation of GPI-inositol, functions as a checkpoint for transporting mature GPI-APs from the ER to the Golgi.

Radiation from radionuclides cause DNA lesions, mainly via oxidation, which adversely affect wild organisms by damaging their germ cells. Here, we investigated the effects of radiation on the reproductive organs of Japanese field mice (Apodemus speciosus) by estimating the dose rate of radiation exposure, the accumulation of DNA lesions, and the expression of DNA repair enzymes.
