Validation of a Turkish version of the fathers' breastfeeding attitude and participation scale.

Objective: This study aimed to determine the validity, structure, and reliability of a Turkish version of the Fathers' Breastfeeding Attitude and Participation Scale. The Fathers' Breastfeeding Attitude and Participation Scale consists of two parts, namely, Fathers' Breastfeeding Attitude and Fathers' Participation in Breastfeeding Process. Totally, the scale consists of 28 items, of which 14 items belong to Fathers' Breastfeeding Attitude and 14 items belong to Fathers' Participation in Breastfeeding Process.

Investigation of exhaust emissions of an isolated diesel engine blended with ethylhexyl nitrate using experimental and ANN approach.

Thermal barrier coating (TBC) implementations and oxygenated additives are remarkable issues that may decrease the exhaust emissions of engines. This study examines the effect of chromium oxide (CrO) coating and the addition of ethylhexyl nitrate (EHN) on exhaust emissions of a diesel engine. In addition, an artificial neural network (ANN) model was designed which estimates exhaust emissions based on engine speed in order to reduce time, labor, and costs lost in experimental studies, and the performance of the ANN was evaluated.

Prenatal breastfeeding self efficacy scale: validity and reliability study.

Aim: To determine the validity and the reliability of the Prenatal Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale.

Material And Methods: This was a methodologic study. The sample of the research comprised 200 pregnant women who presented to the outpatient clinic of Gynecology between April and June 2015.

Laparoscopic surgery of hepatic hydatid disease: initial results and early follow-up of 16 patients.

Surgery is the main modality in the treatment of hepatic hydatid disease. In this report, a laparoscopic surgical method is described, and the results in the first 16 cases are presented. The method involves the use of an aspirator-grinder apparatus that achieves effective evacuation of viable cyst contents with the patient benefiting from the laparoscopic approach.
