Carotid revascularization in patient with asymptomatic unilateral carotid stenosis undergoing coronary bypass--a futile effort!

The best management of asymptomatic carotid artery disease in patient who needs coronary bypass remains controversial. We report the neurological outcome of four patients with asymptomatic unilateral significant carotid artery disease who underwent conventional coronary bypass without carotid revascularization. Our review highlighted the risk of perioperative stroke is not increased despite carotid revascularization was not performed.

Familial primary hyperhidrosis: a disabling social disease.

The incidence of primary hyperhidrosis ranges between 2-5%. This condition is more common than previously thought of and has been linked to a familial predisposition. It is socially disabling to the affected individuals.

Sclerosing haemangioma of the lung - an unusual multifocal presentation.

We present a rare case of a multifocal sclerosing haemangioma of the lung in a 49-year-old lady. A left pneumonectomy with complete excision of the tumour seems to be the curative treatment. The recent literature on this unusual presentation is reviewed.

Breast and Axillary Lymph Nodes Metastasis five years after Radical Nephrectomy for Renal Cell Carcinoma A Case Report and Review of the Literature.

Breast is an uncommon and rare site for metastasis. Primary and secondary tumors of the breast need to be differentiated as management is different. We present a 67 year old female patient with two breast lumps and an axillary lymph node, 5 years after nephrectomy for Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC).
