Objectives: Evaluation of the safety and humoral immunogenicity of ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 as a fourth dose booster in individuals who have had two initial doses of the vaccine and a third dose of BNT162b2.
Methods: COV009 is a safety follow-up study of volunteers enroled in the pivotal pre-licensure ChAdOx1 nCoV-19. In this sub-study, 149 eligible participants were given a fourth dose of ChAdOx1 nCoV-19.
Polycythemia vera (PV) is characterized by clonal hematopoietic stem or progenitor cells with constitutively active somatic mutation(s) in the Janus kinase 2 gene. Phlebotomy (Phl) and aspirin are often used alone for low-risk PV patients. However, data from the Low-PV study demonstrated that Phl and aspirin may not be adequate for patients.

The well-documented weight loss effect from these agents is considered to be primarily a result of their actions on food intake, but frequent anecdotal reports from varied sources have suggested that they might also broadly affect consummatory behavior, including alcohol and drugs of abuse, suggesting a potential modulatory effect on reward behavior. Herein, we critically review the extant literature on the behavioral effects of GLP-1R agonists in humans, including their impact on feeding behavior, alcohol/drug intake, and overall reward response.

In this study, using GFP-based site-directed PEGylation, ligand-induced conformational changes in the lactose permease of Escherichia coli (LacY), were examined in vivo for the first time. Accessibility/reactivity of single-Cys replacements in a Cys-less LacY-eGFP fusion background was tested using methoxy polyethylene glycol-maleimide-5K (mPEG-Mal-5K) in the absence or presence of a ligand, and the band-shift of the fusion upon PEGylation was detected by in-gel fluorescence.
