Autoimmune polyglandular syndrome type 3 (APS-3) is an uncommon condition marked by autoimmune thyroid disease (ATD) linked with other autoimmune issues, excluding Addison's disease. We report a case of a 41-year-old man who was hospitalized due to exhaustion and macrocytic anemia, later diagnosed with APS-3, which included Hashimoto's thyroiditis, pernicious anemia resulting from autoimmune gastritis, and pre-existing vitiligo. Diagnostic results indicated positive intrinsic factor antibodies, a gastric biopsy compatible with gastritis, elevated thyroid peroxidase antibodies, and significant findings from a thyroid ultrasound.

The study used 50 individuals of each strain in comparison (Cherry Valley and Grimaud) equally divided between both sexes), raised in equal rearing and feeding conditions. The results show that, when raised in equal rearing and feeding conditions and slaughtered at matching age, the strain had no significant influence on live body weight at slaughter, warm and cold carcass weights.

Methods: Cross-sectional analyses from the 15-year and 22-year follow-ups of the 1993 Pelotas (Brazil) Birth Cohort. The outcomes were assessed based on self-reported data, and the patterns of co-occurrence were determined using cluster analysis.
Purpose: The described evolution in prenatal and postnatal periods appears to support the hypothesis that the torcular pseudomass (TP) is probably a physiological, highly frequent and transient developmental finding. Neverthless, it remains to be determined whether TP has any relation with the final anatomy of the adjacent venous sinuses or any anatomic variants. We aimed to explore the relation of the TP with the adjacent dural venous anatomy/anatomic variants in the prenatal period, using MR angiography (2D TOF MRA).
