[The extent of bacterial contamination of keratoplasty donor eyes post mortem].

In order to determine the initial bacterial contamination of corneal donor material the abraded epithelia from 125 donors, i.e., 250 globes, were examined immediately after enucleation.

[Trabeculectomy--complications and their prevention].

Advantages and disadvantages of various surgical methods in glaucoma are discussed. Particular attention is called to the occurrence of early and late complications after trabeculectomy. A technique of trabeculectomy in which--according to the author--one may expect the smallest number of postoperative complications is described.

[Follow-up after enucleation in choroid melanoma].

We report on 31 patients who underwent enucleation between 1976 and 1984 for uveal melanoma and had a mean follow-up of 107 months.
