Global food production faces persistent threats from environmental challenges and pathogenic attacks, leading to significant yield losses. Conventional strategies to combat pathogens, such as fungicides and disease-resistant breeding, are limited by environmental contamination and emergence of pathogen resistance. Herein, we engineered sunlight-sensitive and biodegradable carbon dots (CDs) capable of generating reactive oxygen species (ROS), offering a novel and sustainable approach for plant protection.

In this study, a low-cost and tri-coordinated single-atom catalyst (SAC) with Ni-N3 center is fabricated in gram-scale using metal ionic liquids as precursor. The gram-scale Ni-N3 SAC (g-NiN3) achieves efficient electroreduction of CO to CO (eCO-to-CO) with a maximum Faradaic efficiency of 98.

Recent studies have highlighted the potential of gut microbiota-derived metabolites in modulating cardiac outcomes. Here, the cardioprotective effects of a commensal bacterium Flavonifractor plautii (F.

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play important regulatory roles in the development of atherosclerosis. However, the biological functions and potential molecular mechanisms of circRNAs in HHcy-induced lipid accumulation leading to atherosclerosis are still unclear.

Ecological restoration (ER) can mitigate this by reducing upstream sediment, thereby extending hydropower facilities' lifespan. However, ER may also reduce runoff, potentially diminishing energy generation and complicating its overall impact on hydropower potential.
