Purpose: To investigate the effects of LEDs with different spectra and correlated color temperatures on the retina, as well as the protective role of neohesperidin(NHP).

Methods: Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats and 661W cells were divided into four groups: 2700K conventional LED group (CL-2700K), 5000K conventional LED group (CL-5000K), 2700K full-spectrum LED group (FL-2700K) and 5000K full-spectrum LED group (FL-5000K). Retinal damage was detected using Hematoxylin and Eosin (HE) staining, while the expression of mitochondria-related autophagy proteins in retinas was determined through immunofluorescence.

The Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1)-nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) signaling pathway stands as a pivotal mechanism in defending against oxidative stress damage and related inflammation. Blocking the Keap1-Nrf2 protein-protein interaction (PPI) offers a promising therapeutic approach for treating diseases related to oxidative stress and inflammation. Our group previously reported NXPZ-2, a naphthalene sulfonamide derivative targeting Keap1, which effectively inhibits the Keap1-Nrf2 PPI, thereby releasing Nrf2 to exert its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

The progression of SiC MOSFET technology from planar to trench structures requires optimized gate oxide layers within the trench to enhance device performance. In this study, we investigated the interface characteristics of HfO and SiO/HfO gate dielectrics grown by atomic layer deposition (ALD) on SiC trench structures. The trench structure morphology was revealed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

Background: Epilepsy is a common neurological disorder among the elderly, often leading to significant morbidity. Therefore, it is necessary to study the correlation between the frailty index, clinical characteristics of epilepsy, use of anti-epileptic drug, and the prognosis of elderly patients with epilepsy.

Methods: This retrospective study included 106 elderly patients with epilepsy who were treated at the Affiliated Mindong Hospital, Fujian Medical University, China, between January 2018 and December 2022.

Whole slide images (WSIs) play a vital role in cancer diagnosis and prognosis. However, their gigapixel resolution, lack of pixel-level annotations, and reliance on unimodal visual data present challenges for accurate and efficient computational analysis. Existing methods typically divide WSIs into thousands of patches, which increases computational demands and makes it challenging to effectively focus on diagnostically relevant regions.
