Objective: The purpose of this study was to retrospectively evaluate the complications and long-term outcomes of total hip arthroplasty (THA) using a hybrid cementless system.
Materials And Methods: Medical records of dogs that underwent THA using a combined implant system consisting of Innoplant Screw Cup, Kyon taper head and Zurich cementless (Z-THA) stem between March 2010 and March 2015 were reviewed. Dogs with a minimum follow-up of 2 years were included.
This communication reports the use of a soluble Lewis acid complex, [Zn(cyclam)] (cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) as a co-catalyst coupled with Mn(Mesbpy)(CO)Br (Mesbpy = 6,6'-dimesityl-2,2'-bipyridine) for the electrochemical reduction of CO to CO. Utilization of the soluble chelated Lewis acid avoids the use of sacrificial additives and prevents the formation of insoluble products such as MgCO or ZnCO that change the thermodynamics of CO reduction. The use of soluble Lewis acids greatly improves catalysis compared to previously reported systems that used sacrificial anodes.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the video-electroencephalographic monitoring data of 1,118 patients with focal epilepsy for seizure-associated aphasia (SAA). Statistical analysis included chi-square analysis and Fisher's exact test.
Both equilibrium and nonequilibrium factors influence the efficacy of pharmaceutical agents that target intermediate states of biochemical reactions. We explored the intermediate state inhibition of gp41, part of the HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein complex (Env) that promotes viral entry through membrane fusion. This process involves a series of gp41 conformational changes coordinated by Env interactions with cellular CD4 and a chemokine receptor.

Helicobacterpylori, a common infectious bacterium, has been linked to chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer and gastric cancer. Gastric biopsy specimens were obtained from 58 northern Thai patients with gastritis, 28 with gastric ulcer, 45 with duodenal ulcer and 4 with gastric cancer. cagA, vacA s1 and iceA gene was found in 88, 98, and 89% of the specimens, respectively.
