Background: Ovarian cancer is one of the deadliest gynecologic cancers, with chemotherapy resistance as the greatest clinical challenge. Autophagy occurrence is associated with cisplatin (DDP)-resistant ovarian cancer cells. Herein, the role and mechanism of alpha-synuclein (SNCA), the autophagy-related gene, in DDP resistance of ovarian cancer cells are explored.

The clinical data, surgical data and follow-up were analyzed. Among twenty-five patients enrolled, the achalasia type St was present in 12 (48%) patients, type Sg in 9 (36%), and type aSg in 4 (16%).

Real-time imaging and quantification of single cell adhesion kinetics and corresponding cell-substrate mechanical interaction forces are crucial for elucidating the cellular mechanisms involved in tissue formation, immune responses, and cancer metastasis. Here, we present the development of a plasmonic-based nanomechanical sensing and imaging system (PNMSi) for the real-time measurement of single cell adhesion kinetics and associated nanomechanical forces with plasmonic tracking and monitoring of cell-substrate interactions and the accompanying nanoscale fluctuations.

Methods: This study included 310 patients who underwent RC for the diagnosis of bladder urothelial carcinoma. Of these, 146 patients had a history of maximal TURBT (TURBT group) and 164 did not (non-TURBT group).
Polymers with strong electron-withdrawing groups (e.g., cyano-containing polymers) are attractive for a wide range of applications due to their high dielectric constant and outstanding electrochemical stability.
