In the United States, the COVID-19 Pandemic caused many autistic adults to be fearful and worried about their health. There is a lot of research that says that when autistic adults experience health distress it can worsen their mental health. We do not know, however, what might explain how experiencing health distress negatively affects mental health.

Preparing the next generation of nurse leaders in education, science, and practice: Lessons from four Robert Wood Johnson Foundation programs.

Background: Recent articles have described the challenges in developing nurse leaders to advance nursing science, improve health, healthcare, and health equity, and build the next generation of nurses. Over the past 25 years, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) has implemented many programs to develop nurse leaders to address these challenges.

Purpose: This article shares lessons learned from four RWJF programs and how the authors recommend those lessons can be applied today.

Postmortem human brain tissue is a critical resource for studying neurodegenerative disease, providing critical insights into cellular morphology, pathology, and network connectivity. To improve standard microscopy and enable high-resolution, three-dimensional (3D) images of tissues at the subcellular level, tissue-clearing methods have been developed. These 3D images allow for the analysis of large regions of interest and can be used to study structural and spatial changes that occur during neurodegeneration.

Building Relationships, Forming Collaborations: Lessons Learned From an Unconference Seeking to Cultivate Solutions in Healthcare.

Introduction: Calls for a 'major rethinking' of the delivery of healthcare services are echoed across Canada as the healthcare crisis continues. Proposed strategies to address the challenges of this crisis include: a transdisciplinary approach that is patient-focused and community-based; a representative team composed of patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, decision makers and policymakers; and authentic collaboration among stakeholder groups throughout the research cycle.

Objective: This study aimed to enable community members to take on a leading role in building capacity and to provide a space for discourse among diverse groups while respecting community wisdom, values and priorities.
