Purpose: To use quantities measurable during in vivo dosimetry to build unique channel identifiers, that enable detection of brachytherapy errors.
Materials And Methods: Treatment plan of 360 patients with prostate cancer who underwent high-dose-rate brachytherapy (range, 16-25 catheters; mean, 17) were used. A single point virtual dosimeter was placed at multiple positions within the treatment geometry, and the source-dosimeter distance and dwell time were determined for each dwell position in each catheter.
The FACE-Q Craniofacial module includes a scale that measures how bothered an individual is by the appearance of a birthmark on the face or body. To determine if the Birthmark scale measuring appearance of the birthmark has evidence of construct validity among children and young adults, aged 8-29 years old, with a birthmark on the face or body. Participants were recruited as part of the field test of the FACE-Q Craniofacial module.

But one challenge concerns their manipulation, especially at high temperature where thermal fluctuations eventually disintegrate them. Here we study the competition between skyrmions and a chiral spin liquid, using the latter as an entropic buffer to impose a quasivacuum of skyrmions.

Bisphosphonates (BF) and denosumab (DS) are widely used in adults for the management of patients with cancer and osteoporosis, and recently there has been an increase in their use in child and young patients for the management of disorders such as osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis, McCune-Albright syndrome (MAS), malignant hypercalcemia, and others. There are differences between case reports in adults compared to child and young patients related to the use of antiresorptive/antiangiogenic drugs and the development of MRONJ.

Magnetic skyrmions are promising spin textures for building next-generation magnetic memories and spintronic devices. Nevertheless, one of the major challenges in realizing skyrmion-based devices is the stabilization of ordered arrays of these spin textures in different geometries. Here we numerically study the skyrmion-skyrmion interaction potential that arises due to the dynamics of itinerant electrons coupled to the magnetic texture in a ferromagnetic background with racetrack geometry.
