Context: Overactive bladder syndrome (OAB) is highly prevalent among women and has a negative impact on their quality of life. The current available treatments for OAB symptoms include conservative, pharmacological, or surgical modalities.

Objective: To provide an updated contemporary evidence document regarding OAB treatment options and determine the short-term effectiveness, safety, and potential harms of the available treatment modalities for women with OAB syndrome.

Knowledge about the long term outcome with respect to function and complications are important for patient counseling and for the manner to follow-up patients. Purpose Of Review: To study the recent literature on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in patients after radical cystectomy followed by urinary diversion.

Recent Findings: General consensus regarding, which urinary diversion is superior in terms of HRQOL has not been reached. Although there is an increase in studies favoring the orthotopic neobladder, overall quality of these studies is poor.
