Due to the ageing population throughout the world, the rates of older adults suffering from dementia are increasing, requiring a closer look at this population. As a result, the aim of this scoping review is to gather data from the scientific literature on the repercussions of abuse of elderly people with dementia by their caregivers. For this review, Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for scoping reviews was used as a guideline to structure the review topics.

Introduction: Models derived from non-Sri Lankan cohorts are used for cardiovascular (CV) risk stratification of Sri Lankans.
Objective: To develop a CV risk prediction model using machine learning (ML) based on data from a Sri Lankan cohort followed up for 10 years, and to compare the predictions with WHO risk charts.
Design: Cohort study.
Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is an uncommon aggressive neoplasm, usually arising in sun-exposed skin of the head and neck. By immunohistochemistry, KRT20 and MCPyV positivity are found in about 90% and 80% of MCCs, respectively. Noteworthy, viral status in lip/oral cavity MCCs is poorly known.
